VISUAL - European and International Visual Theatre Festival present:

Bilingual Theatre Performances in Austrian Sign Language and Spoken German Performed by deaf, hearingimpaired, CoDA and hearing actors and actresses. CODA are hearing persons, of whom the parents are deaf, the first mother language of CoDAs are the Sign Language of the Deaf.

Children's Theatre Performances with deafblind, hearing and seeing impaired, hearingimpaired, disabled, multi-disabled and hearing (five-sensed) pupils and students. in cooperation with deaf, hearingimpaired, CoDA and hearing actors and actresses.

Performances in the Urban Space of Vienna.

Performances in the Austrian States.

Performances direct broadcasted on the internet.

VISUAL 2023, the 24th European and International Visual Theatre Festival presents theatre plays performed by deaf, hearingimpaired, CoDA and hearing actors and actresses. CODA are hearing persons, of whom the parents are deaf, the first mother language of CoDAs are the Sign Language of the Deaf. VISUAL 2023 takes place from 17th of May to 17th of June 2023.

The programme has five parts:

Evening performances in the theatre Spielraum from 20th of May to 26th of May 2023, always at 20.00 pm. Children's Theatre Performances with deafblind, hearing and seeing impaired, hearingimpaired, disabled, multi-disabled and hearing (five-sensed) pupils and students. in cooperation with deaf, hearingimpaired, CoDA and hearing actors and actresses from 21st of May to 9th of June 2023, always at 10.00 am. Performances in the Urban Space of Vienna, which will be direct broadcasted on the internet too, from 18th of May of 26th of May, always 15.00 pm.
