Das 21. Europäische und Internationale Visuelle Theater Festival von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater findet im Jahr 2020 als Direktübertragung im Internet statt entsprechend den geltenden Bestimmungen. Es stand nicht in der künstlerischen Konzeption, dass in den einzelnen Produktionen, die in der Direktübertragung zu sehen sind, Abstand gehalten wird und selbst eine Liebesszene über Distanz gespielt werden kann. Das Visuelle Theater kann vieles, was das uralte Guckkastentheater veranstaltet in den Steintheatern nicht kann, das Festival VISUAL ist vielfältig wie die Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten der Gebärdensprache als "die Sprache im Raum", modernes Schauspiel, zeitgemäßes Theater und nicht einfältig wie Sprechtheater. Die Direktübertragungen des 21. Europäischen und Internationalen Visuellen Theater Festivals sind frei zugänglich. Möglich gemacht hat dies ein Personenkreis von Menschen, die sich bereits einen Festivalpass um 60,- Euro gekauft haben und nun den Festivalpass als Eintrittskarte für die Direktübertragungen verwenden.
Es kann jedoch jede Person freiwillig einen Festivalpass um 60,- Euro erwerben, indem eine Überweisung von 60,- Euro auf das Konto von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater mit dem

The 21st European and International Visual Theatre Festival presented by ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre takes place in the year 2020 as a livestream according to the existing regulations. It was not the artistic conception that in the performances, which are livestreamed, the distance is kept and also a love scene can be performed through distancing. The Visual Theatre can a lot, which the oldfashioned peep box stage presented in their old stone theatres can't, the festival VISUAL manifold in the artistic expression with the Sign language as "The Language In Space", modern spectacle, contemporary theatre and not simple-minded like as spoken theatre. The livestream of the 21st European and International Visual Theatre is for free access. That was made possible by a group of people, who paid the festival pass for 60,- € per person and can be used as a ticket for the livestream. But every person can donate a festival pass for 60,- Euro with a simple transaction to the account of ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre with the

Die beiden heutigen Szenen sind gleichzeitig die Eröffnung des Festivals VISUAL 2020 in Verbindung mit der Ausstellungseröffnung "Helen Keller und Wilhelm Jerusalem - Die Friedenspflichten des Einzelnen und der Gesellschaft". Dalton Trumbos Szene "Johnny zieht in den Krieg" zeigt das Schicksal eines jungen US-amerikanischen Soldaten, der im Ersten Weltkrieg taub und blind wird und nur noch über das Morsesystem mit Außenwelt kommunizieren kann, und trotz aller Einschränkungen die Hoffnung nicht aufgibt gemäß Helen Kellers Motto "Hindernisse sind dazu da, um überwunden zu werden".

The today's performed scenes are the opening of the festival VISUAL 2020 connected to the opening of the exhibition "Helen Keller and Wilhelm Jerusalem - The Duty for Peace of Every Single Person and the Society". The scene of Dalton Trumbo "Johnny Got His Gun" shows the fate of a young US-american soldier in the First World War, who became deaf and blind and could only communicate with others with the morse-system. But according to all this restrictions in communication he was willing to fight for his existence due to the motto of Helen Keller "Obstacles are things to be overcome".
The poem of August Stramm "Storm Attack" shows the situation of a unit of soldiers, which become in a storm attack not heroes. This expressive visual theatre is performed by Werner Mössler, Markus Rupert and Herbert Gantschacher.

WORKSHOPS "BEGREIFEN - ERRIECHEN - ERSCHMECKEN" UND "GASSED"
Diese beiden Workshops sind eine Einführung in die Welt des Berührens und der fünf Sinne. Der Workshop "Begreifen - Erriechen - Erschmecken" zeigt Personen in einer Situation wie Taubblinde. Wie erfahre ich die Welt, wenn ich nicht hören und sehen kann und dabei auf die drei verbleibenden Sinne des Berührens, des Riechens und des Schmeckens angewiesen bin. Wie verhalte ich mich in der Situation, wie hilft mir meine Umwelt, was kann ich alles selbstständig machen? Der Workshop "Gassed" ist ein Anschlussworkshop und vermittelt den teilnehmenden Personen dass Gefühl, was es bedeutet, bei einem Gasangriff, wie geschehen im Ersten Weltkrieg, taub und blind zu werden, welche seelische Verwundungen trage ich mit mir herum, wer hilft mir in dieser Situation? Der Workshop orientiert sich an dem berühmten Gemälde "Gassed" des britischen bildenden Künstlers John Singer Sargent.

How can I understand the world, if I can't hear and see, so my communication is limited to three senses as to touch, to smell, to taste. How I work with such a situation, how I get help by the world around, how I can manage myself? The workshop "Gassed" is in connection to the workshop "To Touch - To Smell - To Taste" and gives the participating perons the feeling, what it means to become deaf and blind through a gas attack as happened in the First World War, what posttraumatic injuries can happen inside me, who will help me in such a situation? SICHTBARES UND UNSICHTBARES THEATER IM URBANEN RAUM WIEN LAURA BRIDGMAN "HELL UND DUNKEL"

Es spielen: Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert
Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konnte, das Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Mit dem Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" von Laura Bridgman bewegen sich die beiden Schauspieler Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert durch den Urbanen Raum Wien, an Straßenbahnstationen, in der Straßenbahn, an U-Bahnstationen, in der U-Bahn, an S-Bahnstationen, in der S-Bahn und machen selbst vor dem geschlossenen Burgtheater einen Halt, um Laura Bridgmans grandioses Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" mit den künstlerischen Mitteln des sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Theaters im Urbanen Raum Wien zu präsentieren und zu spielen.

Living now with only one sense for touch she was able to manage her life she learned to play the piano and wrote phantastic poems from the point of view of a deafblind. Laura Bridgman was the first deafblind person, who could go to school at the Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. And the first biography about Laura Bridgman was written in Vienna by Wilhelm Jerusalem. Today the actors Werner Mössler and Markus Rupert are moving through the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

VISUAL 2020 - DAS FILMPROGRAMM UND DIE VISUELLE THEATERBIBLIOTHEK
Projekte aus der von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater produzierten "Visuellen Theaterbibliothek" sowie verfilmte zum Teil mittlerweile legendäre Inszenierungen und ARBOS-Produktionen bilden das Programm dieser Reihe täglich bis Freitag 29.Mai 2020. "I CARRY THE FLAG" VON TIM MCCARTY Am Beginn steht heute das Stück des US-amerikanischen Regisseurs und Autors Tim McCarty "I Carry The Flag / I trage die Fahne" in der Inszenierung von Herbert Gantschacher nach dem Gedicht in Prosa "Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke" von Rainer Maria Rilke mit internationaler Besetzung als Cornet Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapur / Großbritannien), als Mutter Margret Petursdottír (Island), als Mädchen Anna Olczak (Polen), als Soldaten Arkadiusz Palatynski (Polen) und Werner Mössler (Österreich), Rezitation und Gesang von Robert Persché (Österreich) und dem Schlagwerker Adi Schober (Österreich). Gezeigt wird die Geschichte eines jungen Soldaten, der als Fahnenträger in die Schlacht zieht und am Schlachtfeld getötet wird, ein Armeeoffizier überbringt dann der Mutter die Nachricht von Tod ihres Sohn. Visuelles Theater von Buntheit und Intensität im Ausdruck.

VISUAL 2020 - THE FILMPROGRAMME AND THE VISUAL THEATRE LIBRARY
Projects from the "Visual Theatre Library" produced by ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre and filmed meanwhile legendary ARBOS-productions are the programme of this serie presented daily till May 29th 2020. "I CARRY THE FLAG" BY TIM MCCARTY The first production presented now is the play of the US-american director and author Tim McCary with the title "I Carry The Flag" directed by Herbert Gantschacher following the poem in prose "The Lay of Love and Death" of Cornet Christoph Rilke" by Rainer Maria Rilke with an international cast as The Cornet Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapore / Great Britain), the Mother Margret Petursdottír (Iceland), the Girl Anna Olczak (Poland), the Soldiers Arkadiusz Palatynski (Poland) and Werner Mössler (Austria), Recitation and Voice by Robert Persché (Austria) and the percussionist Adi Schober (Austria). To see ist the story of a young soldier, who goes as the flagcarrier into the battle and will be killed on the battlefield. An officer of the army delivers the sad news to the mother about the death of her son. Visual theatre with a lot of fine and intensive expressions.

VON BURGIS PAIER Begreifbare, riechbare und schmeckbare Porträts zu 5 außergewöhnlichen Frauen, der einsinnigen taubblinden Laura Bridgman (sie verfügte über den Tastsinn), der zweisinnigen taubblinden Marie Heurtin (sie verfügte über den Tast- und Riechsinn), der dreisinnigen taubblinden Helen Keller (sie verfügte über den Tast-, Riech- und Geschmackssinn), Mary Ann Moore (die US-amerikanische blinde Schriftstellerin) und Sarah Harvey Porter (die US-amerikanische Gehörlosenpädagogin von der Gallaudet-Universität in Washington D.C., die weltweit einzige Universität, in der in Gebärdensprache gelehrt wird). Diese 5 außergewöhnlichen Portraits wurden von einer ebenso außergewöhnlichen österreichischen bildenden Künstlerin Burgis Paier als Auftragswerke von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik geschaffen. Zur Ausstellung gibt es auch einen Katalog in der Form eines Pdfs jeweils in deutscher und englischer Sprache. HELEN KELLER / WILHELM JERUSALEM "VERWEIGERT DEN KRIEG!"
Ein Stück visuelles Theater von Helen Keller und Wilhelm Jerusalem mit dem gehörlosen Schauspieler Werner Mössler als Wilhelm Jerusalem und der hörenden Schauspielerin Rita Hatzmann als taubblinde Helen Keller über die Pazifistin und Menschenrechtsaktivistin Helen Keller in Beziehung zum Entdecker ihres literarischen Talent, dem Philosophen, Reformpädagogen und Pazifisten Wilhelm Jerusalem. Bis vor wenigen Jahren war in Vergessenheit geraten, dass Wilhelm Jerusalem aus Wien der Entdecker des literarischen Talents von Helen Keller war. Von 1905 bis zum Jahr 1914 waren sie im regelmäßigen Briefkontakt, der durch den Ersten Weltkrieg unterbrochen worden ist, danach im Jahr 1920 hat dann Wilhelm Jerusalem noch einen Brief an Helen Keller geschrieben mit der Bitte um Unterstützung für die taubblinden Kinder im hungernden Wien, dieser Brief ist auch der berührende Abschluss der Theatervorstellung. Aus dem Englischen übersetzt von Herbert Gantschacher, der das Stück auch inszeniert und produziert hat.

HELEN KELLER / WILHELM JERUSALEM "STRIKE AGAINST THE WAR!"
A play as Visual Theatre by Helen Keller and Wilhelm Jerusalem performed by the deaf actor Werner Mössler as Wilhelm Jerusalem and the hearing actress Rita Hatzmann as the deafblind Helen Keller about the relationship of the pacifist and human right activist Helen Keller related to her founder of her literary talent, the philosopher and progressive educationalist and pacifist Wilhelm. It was forgotten that Wilhelm Jerusalem from Vienna was the founder of the literary talent of Helen Keller. From the year 1905 till the year 1914 both exchanged regularly letters. The start of the First World War in 1914 stopped that exchange of letters. After the First World War Wilhelm Jerusalem wrote only one more letter to Helen Keller, there he asked for help for deafblind children in the hungry Vienna, this letter is also the end of this moving performance. WORKSHOPS "BEGREIFEN - ERRIECHEN - ERSCHMECKEN" UND "GASSED"
Diese beiden Workshops sind eine Einführung in die Welt des Berührens und der fünf Sinne. Der Workshop "Begreifen - Erriechen - Erschmecken" zeigt Personen in einer Situation wie Taubblinde. Wie erfahre ich die Welt, wenn ich nicht hören und sehen kann und dabei auf die drei verbleibenden Sinne des Berührens, des Riechens und des Schmeckens angewiesen bin. Wie verhalte ich mich in der Situation, wie hilft mir meine Umwelt, was kann ich alles selbstständig machen? Der Workshop "Gassed" ist ein Anschlussworkshop und vermittelt den teilnehmenden Personen dass Gefühl, was es bedeutet, bei einem Gasangriff, wie geschehen im Ersten Weltkrieg, taub und blind zu werden, welche seelische Verwundungen trage ich mit mir herum, wer hilft mir in dieser Situation? Der Workshop orientiert sich an dem berühmten Gemälde "Gassed" des britischen bildenden Künstlers John Singer Sargent.

SICHTBARES UND UNSICHTBARES THEATER IM URBANEN RAUM WIEN LAURA BRIDGMAN "HELL UND DUNKEL"

Es spielen: Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert
Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konnte, das Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Mit dem Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" von Laura Bridgman bewegen sich die beiden Schauspieler Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert durch den Urbanen Raum Wien, an Straßenbahnstationen, in der Straßenbahn, an U-Bahnstationen, in der U-Bahn, an S-Bahnstationen, in der S-Bahn und machen selbst vor dem geschlossenen Burgtheater einen Halt, um Laura Bridgmans grandioses Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" mit den künstlerischen Mitteln des sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Theaters im Urbanen Raum Wien zu präsentieren und zu spielen.

Living now with only one sense for touch she was able to manage her life she learned to play the piano and wrote phantastic poems from the point of view of a deafblind. Laura Bridgman was the first deafblind person, who could go to school at the Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. And the first biography about Laura Bridgman was written in Vienna by Wilhelm Jerusalem. Today the actors Werner Mössler and Markus Rupert are moving through the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

Inszeniert wurde die Tragödie von Herbert Gantschacher mit Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapur / Großbritannien) als Empedokles mit den österreichischen Schauspielern Werner Mössler und Alexander Mitterer und der deutschen Schauspielerin Jessica Latein. Die Musik stammt von den Komponisten Viktor Ullmann und Wolfgang Danzmayr. Die Lieder werden von Horst Dittrich in Österreichischer Gebärdensprache gespielt, gesungen von Rupert Bergmann, gespielt von Gundi Aggermann (Flöte) und Alfred Melichar (Akkordeon). Der zu den Klassikern zählende griechische Philosoph Empedokles lebte in der sizilianische Stadt Aggrigent, seine Ideen waren revolutionär. So kam er in Konflikt mit den Behörden des Stadtstaates Aggrigent und wurde mundtot gemacht von der Staatsgewalt. Empedokles begang Selbstmord, er sprang in den Vulkan Aetna. Eine Inszenierung voller visueller Poesie.

"THE DEATH OF EMPEDOCLES" A TRAGEDY BY FRIEDRICH HÖLDERLIN RECONSTRUCTED BY HERBERT GANTSCHACHER AFTER AN IDEA OF DZEVAD KARAHSAN Today the next production is presented the tragedy "The Death of Empedocles" reconstructed by Herbert Gantschacher after an idea of the poet Dževad Karahasan, who will get in this year 2020 the Goethe-Prize of the city of Frankfurt, one of the most renowned prizes in literature, heartful congratulations. Directed by Herbert Gantschacher Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapore / Great Britain) performs the title character of Empedocles with the Austrian and German actors Werner Mössler, Alexander Mitterer, and Jessica Latein. The music is written by Viktor Ullmann and Wolfgang Danzmayr. The songs are performed in Austrian Sign Language by Horst Dittrich, the singer is Rupert Bergmann and the musicians are Gundi Aggermann (flute) and Alfred Melichar (accordion). "THE DEATH OF EMPEDOCLES" A TRAGEDY BY FRIEDRICH HÖLDERLIN RECONSTRUCTED BY HERBERT GANTSCHACHER AFTER AN IDEA OF DZEVAD KARAHSAN Today the next production is presented the tragedy "The Death of Empedocles" reconstructed by Herbert Gantschacher after an idea of the poet Dževad Karahasan, who will get in this year 2020 the Goethe-Prize of the city of Frankfurt, one of the most renowned prizes in literature, heartful congratulations. Directed by Herbert Gantschacher Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapore / Great Britain) performs the title character of Empedocles with the Austrian and German actors Werner Mössler, Alexander Mitterer, and Jessica Latein. The music is written by Viktor Ullmann and Wolfgang Danzmayr. The songs are performed in Austrian Sign Language by Horst Dittrich, the singer is Rupert Bergmann and the musicians are Gundi Aggermann (flute) and Alfred Melichar (accordion). Ein Stück visuelles Theater von Helen Keller und Wilhelm Jerusalem mit dem gehörlosen Schauspieler Werner Mössler als Wilhelm Jerusalem und der hörenden Schauspielerin Rita Hatzmann als taubblinde Helen Keller über die Pazifistin und Menschenrechtsaktivistin Helen Keller in Beziehung zum Entdecker ihres literarischen Talent, dem Philosophen, Reformpädagogen und Pazifisten Wilhelm Jerusalem. Bis vor wenigen Jahren war in Vergessenheit geraten, dass Wilhelm Jerusalem aus Wien der Entdecker des literarischen Talents von Helen Keller war. Von 1905 bis zum Jahr 1914 waren sie im regelmäßigen Briefkontakt, der durch den Ersten Weltkrieg unterbrochen worden ist, danach im Jahr 1920 hat dann Wilhelm Jerusalem noch einen Brief an Helen Keller geschrieben mit der Bitte um Unterstützung für die taubblinden Kinder im hungernden Wien, dieser Brief ist auch der berührende Abschluss der Theatervorstellung. Aus dem Englischen übersetzt von Herbert Gantschacher, der das Stück auch inszeniert und produziert hat.

A play as Visual Theatre by Helen Keller and Wilhelm Jerusalem performed by the deaf actor Werner Mössler as Wilhelm Jerusalem and the hearing actress Rita Hatzmann as the deafblind Helen Keller about the relationship of the pacifist and human right activist Helen Keller related to her founder of her literary talent, the philosopher and progressive educationalist and pacifist Wilhelm. It was forgotten that Wilhelm Jerusalem from Vienna was the founder of the literary talent of Helen Keller. From the year 1905 till the year 1914 both exchanged regularly letters. The start of the First World War in 1914 stopped that exchange of letters. After the First World War Wilhelm Jerusalem wrote only one more letter to Helen Keller, there he asked for help for deafblind children in the hungry Vienna, this letter is also the end of this moving performance. Eine Vorstellung mit visueller Musik und visuellem Theater mit Mervin Primeaux. Es ist dies eine Direlktübertragung aus dem Theater der Universität des Bundesstaats Maryland in College Park, 10 Kilometer nordöstlich der US-amerikanischen Hauptstadt Washington D.C. Der gehörlose Schauspieler und Tänzer Mervin Primeaux aus den USA ist von schwarzer Herkunft und stammt aus armen Verhältnissen. An seinem eigenen Schicksal hat er erfahren, was es bedeutet als Gehörloser und schwarzer Amerikaner in den USA aufzuwachsen, er hat Diskriminierung sowohl als Gehörloser als auch als Schwarzer erfahren. Diese Erfahrungen setzt er künstlerisch um im visuellen Theaterstück "One Word - One Moment - Visual Music" eben mit Gebärdensprache, Musik und Tanz. Mervin Primeaux und das QUEST VISUAL THEATRE zählen zu den bedeutendsten Vertretern des internationalen Gehörlosentheaters und Visuellen Theaters.

"One Word - One Moment - Visual Music"
A performance with visual music and visual theatre by Mervin Primeaux. It is a live strean from the theatre of the University of Maryland in College Park, 10 kilometers in the North-East of the US-american capital Washington D.C. The deaf and afroamerican actor and dancer Mervin Primeaux from the USA is of black origin and came from poor living existence. From his own fate he got the experience to be a deaf and black American in the USA. He got this experience twice as a deaf person and as a black person, what it means to be discriminated. These experiences he uses artistically in the visual theatre play "One Word - One Moment - Visual Music" combined with Sign Language, music, and dance. Mervin Primeaux and the QUEST VISUAL THEATRE are one of the most important representatives of the international deaf theatres and the visual theatres.

Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konnte, das Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Mit dem Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" von Laura Bridgman bewegen sich die beiden Schauspieler Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert durch den Urbanen Raum Wien, an Straßenbahnstationen, in der Straßenbahn, an U-Bahnstationen, in der U-Bahn, an S-Bahnstationen, in der S-Bahn und machen selbst vor dem geschlossenen Burgtheater einen Halt, um Laura Bridgmans grandioses Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" mit den künstlerischen Mitteln des sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Theaters im Urbanen Raum Wien zu präsentieren und zu spielen.

Living now with only one sense for touch she was able to manage her life she learned to play the piano and wrote phantastic poems from the point of view of a deafblind. Laura Bridgman was the first deafblind person, who could go to school at the Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. And the first biography about Laura Bridgman was written in Vienna by Wilhelm Jerusalem. Today the actors Werner Mössler and Markus Rupert are moving through the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

From the year 1905 to the year 1920 the deafblind writer and human rights activist Helen Keller and the Viennese philosopher, progressive educationalist and pacifist Wilhelm Jerusalem exchanged letters, interrupted from the year 1914 to the year 1919 by the First World War. FÜHRUNG DURCH DIE AUSSTELLUNG "DIE 5 SINNE" VON BURGIS PAIER Begreifbare, riechbare und schmeckbare Porträts zu 5 außergewöhnlichen Frauen, der einsinnigen taubblinden Laura Bridgman (sie verfügte über den Tastsinn), der zweisinnigen taubblinden Marie Heurtin (sie verfügte über den Tast- und Riechsinn), der dreisinnigen taubblinden Helen Keller (sie verfügte über den Tast-, Riech- und Geschmackssinn), Mary Ann Moore (die US-amerikanische blinde Schriftstellerin) und Sarah Harvey Porter (die US-amerikanische Gehörlosenpädagogin von der Gallaudet-Universität in Washington D.C., die weltweit einzige Universität, in der in Gebärdensprache gelehrt wird). Diese 5 außergewöhnlichen Portraits wurden von einer ebenso außergewöhnlichen österreichischen bildenden Künstlerin Burgis Paier als Auftragswerke von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik geschaffen. Eine Vorstellung mit visueller Musik und visuellem Theater mit Mervin Primeaux. Es ist dies eine Direlktübertragung aus dem Theater der Universität des Bundesstaats Maryland in College Park, 10 Kilometer nordöstlich der US-amerikanischen Hauptstadt Washington D.C. Der gehörlose Schauspieler und Tänzer Mervin Primeaux aus den USA ist von schwarzer Herkunft und stammt aus armen Verhältnissen. An seinem eigenen Schicksal hat er erfahren, was es bedeutet als Gehörloser und schwarzer Amerikaner in den USA aufzuwachsen, er hat Diskriminierung sowohl als Gehörloser als auch als Schwarzer erfahren. Diese Erfahrungen setzt er künstlerisch um im visuellen Theaterstück "One Word - One Moment - Visual Music" eben mit Gebärdensprache, Musik und Tanz. Mervin Primeaux und das QUEST VISUAL THEATRE zählen zu den bedeutendsten Vertretern des internationalen Gehörlosentheaters und Visuellen Theaters.

Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konnte, das Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Mit dem Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" von Laura Bridgman bewegen sich die beiden Schauspieler Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert durch den Urbanen Raum Wien, an Straßenbahnstationen, in der Straßenbahn, an U-Bahnstationen, in der U-Bahn, an S-Bahnstationen, in der S-Bahn und machen selbst vor dem geschlossenen Burgtheater einen Halt, um Laura Bridgmans grandioses Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" mit den künstlerischen Mitteln des sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Theaters im Urbanen Raum Wien zu präsentieren und zu spielen.

At the age of three years Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) became deaf and blind, and later she lost also the senses for taste and smell. Living now with only one sense for touch she was able to manage her life she learned to play the piano and wrote phantastic poems from the point of view of a deafblind. Laura Bridgman was the first deafblind person, who could go to school at the Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. And the first biography about Laura Bridgman was written in Vienna by Wilhelm Jerusalem. Today the actors Werner Mössler and Markus Rupert are moving through the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

And the first biography about Laura Bridgman was written in Vienna by Wilhelm Jerusalem. Today the actors Werner Mössler and Markus Rupert are moving through the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

Projekte aus der von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater produzierten "Visuellen Theaterbibliothek" sowie verfilmte zum Teil mittlerweile legendäre Inszenierungen und ARBOS-Produktionen bilden das Programm dieser Reihe täglich bis Freitag 29.Mai 2020. "WOYZECK" EIN STÜCK VON GEORG BÜCHNER IN DER FASSUNG VON DZEVAD KARAHASAN Heute wird in dieser Reihe die nächste Produktion vorgestellt, das Stück "Woyzeck" von Georg Büchner in der Fassung von Karahasan, der dieses Jahr 2020 mit dem Goethe-Preis der Stadt Frankfurt ausgezeichnet wird, einem der renommiertesten Preise in der Welt der Literatur, herzliche Gratulation. Inszeniert wurde die Tragödie von Herbert Gantschacher mit Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapur / Großbritannien) als Woyzeck mit den österreichischen Schauspielerin Rita Hatzmann und österreichischen Schauspielern Werner Mössler, Markus Rupert und Martin Strehle. Georg Büchner beschäftigt sich mit der Situation der Armut und Mehrfachbeschäftigung. Denn: Immer mehr Menschen kommen mit ihren Einkommen nicht aus. In manchen Branchen werden selbst niedrigste Einkommen noch weiter nach unten gedrückt: Schlagzeilen über Hungerlöhne mitten in Deutschland haben die Debatte über Mindestlöhne neu belebt auch in der globalen Sicht des 21. Jahrhunderts. Büchner löst damit 1836 und 1837 eine auch für das 21. Jahrhundert höchst moderne Diskussion aus. Denn „vorindustrielle Ausbeutung“ ist wohl eine weltweite und zeitlose Tatsache und gerade in der Zeit der Pandemie besonders sichtbar.

"WOYZECK" A PLAY BY GEORG BÜCHNER ADOPTED BY DZEVAD KARAHASAN Today the next production is presented the play "Woyzeck" of Georg Büchner adopted by Dževad Karahasan, who will get in this year 2020 the Goethe-Prize of the city of Frankfurt, one of the most renowned prizes in literature, heartful congratulations. Directed by Herbert Gantschacher Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapore / Great Britain) performs the title character of Woyzeck together with the Austrian actress Rita Hatzmann and the Austrian actors Werner Mössler, Markus Rupert and Martin Strehle.The play of Georg Büchner deals with the situation of poverty and multiple employment. Because more and more people cannot live form their income. In some industries, even the lowest of income be pushed further down: headlines on starvation wages in the centre of the German speaking areas and the debate for minimum wages revives a political and social discussion also in a global dimension. So in the years 1836 and 1837 Büchner starts a most modern discussion also for the 21st century. "Pre-Industrial Exploitation" is a global and dateless fact especially today in the situation of the pandemia.

Es ist dies eine Direlktübertragung aus dem Theater der Universität des Bundesstaats Maryland in College Park, 10 Kilometer nordöstlich der US-amerikanischen Hauptstadt Washington D.C. Der gehörlose Schauspieler und Tänzer Mervin Primeaux aus den USA ist von schwarzer Herkunft und stammt aus armen Verhältnissen. An seinem eigenen Schicksal hat er erfahren, was es bedeutet als Gehörloser und schwarzer Amerikaner in den USA aufzuwachsen, er hat Diskriminierung sowohl als Gehörloser als auch als Schwarzer erfahren. "Die vier Temperamente"
ein Taubblindentheaterstück von Herbert Gantschacher für den taubblinden Florian Pichler umgesetzt im Probenprozess als Workshopprogramm mit dem Schauspieler Markus Pol (er ist ein CoDA, also Kind gehörloser Eltern und ausgebildeter Experte zur Kommunikation mit Taubblinden mit taktilen Gebärden und dem Lorm-Alphabet), dem Schauspieler Markus Rupert und dem Musiker Adi Schober. Als Vorstellung umgesetzt kombiniert das Projekt nun Ergebnisse der Workshops zwischen den taubblinden und den fünfsinnigen Schülerinnen und Schülern. Ausgangspunkt des Projekts sind die 4 fundamentalen Grundtypen menschlicher Existenz, dem Sanguiniker, dem Choleriker, demn Melancholiker und dem Sanguiniker. .

Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben,lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konnte, das Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Von 1905 bis 1920 waren die taubblinde Schriftstellerin und Menschenrechtsaktivistin Helen Keller und der Wiener Philosoph, Reformpädagoge und Pazifist Wilhelm Jerusalem in Briefkontakt, unterbrochen von 1914 bis 1919 durch den ersten Weltkrieg. Wilhelm Jerusalem ist der Entdecker des literarischen Talents von Helen Keller. Als den "Moses der Taubblinden" bezeichnet Helen Keller Wilhelm Jerusalem im Brief zu dessen 65.Geburtstag. Diese Ausgabe der Visuellen Theaterbibliothek zeigt Sabine Zeller als Interpretin der Gebärdensprache sichtbar mit der verschrifteten deutschen Sprache, die von Markus Rupert zu hören ist, eine Art visuelles Lesebuch.

Visuelles Theater mit Minidramen von Jolanta Znotina und Liva Kolmane aus Lettland, Mervin Primeaux aus den USA, Rita Hatzmann, Werner Mössler, Markus Pol und Markus Rupert aus Österreich. Das Festival VISUAL widmet traditionellerweise seit Jahren eine Abendvorstellung der Theaterform der kurzen Stücke und Szenen. Der heutige Theaterabend ist daher dreigeteilt. Zuerst werden Monodramen und Minidramen von Raoul Hausmann, Martha Steinitz, Arnolt Bronnen, Friedrich Wolf und Daniil Charms gespielt. Danach gibt es zwei Stücke der beiden lettischen Schauspielerinnen Jolanta Znotina und Liva Kolmane. Danach sind zwei Szenen mit Musik von Dalton Trumbo und August Stramm zu sehen. Und den Abschluss bildet Mervin Primeaux aus den USA. Den Beginn macht die Parodie "Heimatklänge!" des Wiener Dichters Raoul Hausmann, der sich das Friedensmanifest der Pazifistin Martha Steinitz "Helden der Güte - Gandhi und andere" anschließt, gefolgt vom "Ostpolzug" des österreichischen Dramatikers Arnolt Bronnen, der uns mit seiner "Alexanderschlacht" in die tiefen Täler und hohen Berge von Afghanistan entführt, um dann mit Friedrich Wolfs "Die Matrosen von Cattaro" am Adriatischen Meer zu landen, um die Geschichte von Seeleuten in Ausnahmesituationen zu erfahren, wobei den Abschluss die Parodie "Missglückte Vorstellung" von Daniil Charms bildet. Im Mittelteil sind zwei Frauenschicksale aus Lettland zu sehen, die am Beginn des der Unabhängigkeit Lettlands vor über 100 Jahren stehen, authentisch gespielt von den beiden lettischen Schauspielerinnen Jolanta Znotina und Liva Kolmane. Danach sind die beiden musikalischen Minidramen "Johnny zieht in den Krieg" von Dalton Trumbo und "Sturmangriff - Niemals Helden" von August Stramm zu sehen gespielt von Werner Mössler, Markus Rupert und Herbert Gantschacher. Den Abschluss bildet dann Mervin Primeaux aus den USA.

First there are presented monodramas and minidramas of Raoul Hausmann, Martha Steinitz, Arnolt Bronnen, Friedrich Wolf and Daniil Charms followed by two scenes of the two actresses from Latvia Jolanta Znotina and Liva Kolmane. And at then two scenes with music of Dalton Trumbo and August Stramm are performed. And at the end there is Mervin Primeaux from the USA. The starter is the parody "Sound from the Motherland" of the Viennese poet Raoul Hausmann followed by the peace manifesto of the pacifist Martha Steinitz "Heroes of Mercy - Gandhi and others" followed by the "Eastern Pole Trail" of the Austrian dramatist Arnolt Bronnen, who directs us with his "Battle of Alexander" into the deep valleys and high mountains of Afghanistan. and after that journey in places of inner Asia the drama "The Sailors of Cattaro" by Friedrich Wolf brings us to another landscape back to Europe to the Adriatic Sea listening us visually to the fate of a group of sailors in an extra-ordinary situation, and at the end of the first part again a parody is presented "Failed Performance" by Daniil Charms. The bridge between the first and third part are two scenes about the fates of women in Latvia at the begin of the independence of the country around 100 years ago in authentic performances by the two actresses from Latvia, Jolanta Znotina and Liva Kolmane. The third part of this special theatre evening starts with the musical minidramas "Johnny Got His Gun" by Dalton Trumbo and "Storm Attack - Never The Heroes" by August Stramm performed by Werner Mössler, Markus Rupert and Herbert Gantschacher. And the end of the third part will be Mervin Primeaux from the USA.

SICHTBARES UND UNSICHTBARES THEATER IM URBANEN RAUM WIEN
LAURA BRIDGMAN "HELL UND DUNKEL"
Inszenierung: Herbert Gantschacher Es spielen: Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konntedas Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Inszenierung: Herbert Gantschacher Es spielen: Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konntedas Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

Projekte aus der von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater produzierten "Visuellen Theaterbibliothek" sowie verfilmte zum Teil mittlerweile legendäre Inszenierungen und ARBOS-Produktionen bilden das Programm dieser Reihe täglich bis Freitag 29.Mai 2020. "SANFTWUT ODER DER OHRENMASCHINIST" THEATERSONATE VON GERT JONKE Das Jahr 2020 ist in der Musikwelt einen gehörlosen Komponisten gewidmet. Vor 250 Jahren wurde Ludwig van Beethoven geboren, der dann als Musiker, Dirigent und Komponist hauptsächlich in der Stadt Wien wirkte und Alter von 28 Jahren begann zu ertauben, was dann zu völliger Taubheit und somit Gehörlosigkeit führte. Daher sind im musikalischen Schaffen Beethovens zwei Lebensabschnitte zu berücksichtigen, die Musik komponiert als hörender und die Musik komponiert als gehörloser Komponist. Darüber hat der österreichische Dichter Gert Jonke eine Theatersonate mit dem Titel "Sanftwut oder Der Ohrenmaschinist" geschrieben und dabei den Lebensabschnitt Beethovens ausgesucht, als er bereits in der Situation vollkommener Taubheit an seiner größten und schwierigsten Sonate, der "Großen Sonate für Hammerklavier op. 106" arbeitete, ein grandioses Stück Musik geschaffen von einem gehörlosen Komponisten. Dazu gibt es auch eine legendäre Inszenierung dieses Stückes als bilinguale Aufführung und weltweite Erstaufführung in Gebärdensprache, der Österreichischen Gebärdensprache mit dem gehörlosen Schauspieler Werner Mössler als dem ertaubten Beethoven, Klaus Seewald als dem Adlatus Schindler, dem persönlichen Sekretär von Beethoven und Alexander Mitterer als der Maler Ferdinand Waldmüller, in Szene gesetzt von Herbert Gantschacher, in die Österreichische Gebärdensprache übersetzt vom gehörlosen Schauspieler und Übersetzer Horst Dittrich. Gert Jonkes Theatersonate wird ungekürzt gespielt. Spieldauer 2 Stunden 14 Minuten, daher beginnt das Filmprogramm ausnahmsweise bereits um 17.00 MESZ.

Projects from the "Visual Theatre Library" produced by ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre and filmed meanwhile legendary ARBOS-productions are the programme of this serie presented daily till May 29th 2020. "GENTLE RAGE OR THE EAR ENGINEER" A THEATRE SONATA BY GERT JONKE In the world of music the year 2020 is dedicated to a deaf composer. 250 years ago Ludwig van Beethoven was born, who worked as a musician, conductor and composer mainly in the city of Vienna. At the age of 28 years he lost the sense of hearing and became a complete deaf composer. So in the life of the composer Beethoven there is to differ the time of the hearing composer and the time of the deaf composer. About that situation the Austrian poet Gert Jonke wrote a theatre sonate titled with "Gentle Rage or The Ear Engineer". The play takes place in the time of the life of Beethoven, as he works in situation of total deafness on his greatest but also most complicate piano sonata, "The Sonata For Grand Piano op. 106", a magnificant piece of music created by a deaf composer. Therefor is also existing a legendary production of this theatre play as a bilingual performance and as a world premiere performed for the very first time in Sign Language, in Austrian Sign Language by the deaf actor Werner Mössler as the deaf Beethoven, Klaus Seewald as Schindler, the personal secretary of Beethoven, and Alexander Mitterer als the painter Ferdinand Waldmüller, directed by Herbert Gantschacher, translated into the Austrian Sign Language by the deaf actor and translater Horst Dittrich. This theatre performance of Gert Jonke is to be performed in full lenth. Playing time 2 hours 14 minutes, therefor exceptionally the filmprogramme starts at 17.00 CEST.

ein sehr spezieller Opernabend in drei Abteilungen mit Kurzopern von Daniil Charms, Werner Raditschnig und Alexander Radvilovich Bilinguale Opernaufführungen mit Gesang, Musik und Österreichischer Gebärdensprache Inszenierung und Produktion: Herbert Gantschacher Gesang: Selma Aljovic (Sopran), Markus Pol (Tenor), Markus Rupert (Bariton), David McShane (Bass), Werner Mössler (natürliche Stimme eines Gehörlosen) Visueller Gesang in Gebärdensprache: Werner Mössler und Markus Pol Es musiziert das ARBOS-Ensemble mit: Thomas Trsek (Violine), Rupert Schöttle Cello), Regina Schmallegger (Flöte, Piccoloflöte), Gregor Narnhofer (Klarinette), Andrea Guggenberger (Tuba), Bojana Foinidis (Akkordeon) und Adi Schober (Schlagwerk) Opern und Musiktheater im einem Festival des visuellen Theater mit Gebärdensprache, ja das geht, und das geht so gar sehr gut auch dank des großartigen Werks des russischen Dichter Daniil Charms, der ein ganz außergewöhnliches Oevre hinterlassen hat mit Prosa, Szenen, Minidramen und auch Kurzopern. Und entsprechend der Konzeption werden zwischen Charms zwei Kurzmusiktheaterstücke nach Dalton Trumbo und August Stramm eingefügt passend zu den Charmsschen Kurzopern "Historischer Einschnitt", "Die Schamlosen", "Dialog", "Pfiff . Pfaff . Pfuff ." und "Störung".
Daniil Charms beschäftigt sich in "Historischer Einschnitt" mit dem Revolutionsjahr 1917. In dieser dramatischen Szene findet Charms die Quintessenz der einsetzenden revolutionären Bewegungen des Jahres 1917, die einfach schlichtweg verschlafen werden, somit also eine Art traumatischer Wachzustand eintritt.
"Die Schamlosen" versteht sich als große Oper in kurzer Form, in der die beiden großen Solopartien in Streit miteinander geraten, wer den nun wen schlagen wird, bevor es zum Gemetzel kommt schreitet der Trommler ein und beendet den grotesken Streit. „Die Schamlosen“ schildert aber auch die Auseinandersetzungen zwischen den rivalisierenden Gruppen der revolutionären Zeit Russlands.
"Dialog" ist eine wortsymphonische Dichtung in Metaphern zur Frage, ob Vögel überhaupt fliegen können. In dieser auf den ersten Blick anmutenden einfachen dramatischen Szene liest es sich zwischen den Zeilen heraus, dass in der neuen Zeit der Sowjetisierung nicht von Vorteil ist, Situationen ungeschminkt darzustellen sondern diese besser in einer künstlerischen Umsetzung vorzustellen, also auf künstlerische Art und Weise den sozialistischen Realismus zu umgehen.
Die Komponisten Werner Raditschnig und Alexander Radvilovich haben jeweils einen Text von Daniil Charms zur Vertonung ausgesucht, nämlich "Pfiff . Pfaff . Pfuff ." In der Vertonung von Werner Raditschnig - dieses Stück ist auch der Titel dieses speziellen Opernabends - und "Störung" von Alexander Radvilovich, das gerade dieser Tage anlässlich des 75. Jahrestags des Endes des Zweiten Weltkriegs wieder aktuell ist. Und der dramatische Text „Störung“ kann dann als verdichtetes Protokoll einer Verhaftung gelesen werden, denn nur ungefähr ein Jahr nach der Niederschrift der Szene „Störung“ wird Charms selbst zur Zielscheibe einer Verhaftung. Und inhaftiert stirbt Charms am 2. Feber 1942 während der Zeit der Blockade Leningrads durch die Deutsche Wehrmacht, die aus der Stadt an der Newa gelegen an der Peter-Paul-Festung vom 8. September 1941 bis zum 27. Jänner 1944 die größte Belagerung des Zweiten Weltkriegs betrieben hat mit dem Ziel der physischen Vernichtung der Bevölkerung der Stadt durch Hunger, Terror und Bombardierungen. Die Deutsche Wehrmacht erhielt dabei auch massive Unterstützung durch Einheiten der Kosaken, der lettischen und estnischen Waffen-SS. Diese Situation der Auslöschung und Vernichtung der jüdischen und slawischen Bevölkerung Russlands hat Charms in der Szene "Pfiff . Pfaff . Pfuff ." mit ausgesuchter Ironie knapp und prägnant dargestellt in einer Art und Weise, dass sie sich musikdramatisch plastisch darstellen lässt, passend zum 75. Jahrestag des Endes des Zweiten Weltkriegs.

Die Komponisten Werner Raditschnig und Alexander Radvilovich haben jeweils einen Text von Daniil Charms zur Vertonung ausgesucht, nämlich "Pfiff . Pfaff . Pfuff ." In der Vertonung von Werner Raditschnig - dieses Stück ist auch der Titel dieses speziellen Opernabends - und "Störung" von Alexander Radvilovich, das gerade dieser Tage anlässlich des 75. Jahrestags des Endes des Zweiten Weltkriegs wieder aktuell ist. Und der dramatische Text „Störung“ kann dann als verdichtetes Protokoll einer Verhaftung gelesen werden, denn nur ungefähr ein Jahr nach der Niederschrift der Szene „Störung“ wird Charms selbst zur Zielscheibe einer Verhaftung. Und inhaftiert stirbt Charms am 2. Feber 1942 während der Zeit der Blockade Leningrads durch die Deutsche Wehrmacht, die aus der Stadt an der Newa gelegen an der Peter-Paul-Festung vom 8. September 1941 bis zum 27. Jänner 1944 die größte Belagerung des Zweiten Weltkriegs betrieben hat mit dem Ziel der physischen Vernichtung der Bevölkerung der Stadt durch Hunger, Terror und Bombardierungen. Die Deutsche Wehrmacht erhielt dabei auch massive Unterstützung durch Einheiten der Kosaken, der lettischen und estnischen Waffen-SS. Diese Situation der Auslöschung und Vernichtung der jüdischen und slawischen Bevölkerung Russlands hat Charms in der Szene "Pfiff . Pfaff . Pfuff ." mit ausgesuchter Ironie knapp und prägnant dargestellt in einer Art und Weise, dass sie sich musikdramatisch plastisch darstellen lässt, passend zum 75. Jahrestag des Endes des Zweiten Weltkriegs.

Opera and music theatre inside a festival of the Visual Theatre with Sign Language, yes that is possible, and that works very well also thanks to the extra-ordinary literary work of the Russian poet Daniil Charms, on which he worked his life long. So the work of Charms survived with a lot of extra-ordinary prose, scenes, minidrams, but also minioperas. And between Charms following the artistic conception two short music theatre pieces of Dalton Trumbo and August Stramm are inclosed to the minioperas of Charms as "Historical Incision", "The Shameless", "Dialogue", "Pfiff . Pfaff . Pfuff.", and "Interruption". In the miniopera "Historical Incision" Daniil Charms remembers to the revolutionary year of 1917. The quintessence for the starting revolutionary movements of the year 1917 simply slept through, so that a kind of traumatic wakefulness occurs. "The Shameless" are a big opera in a short form, both great solosingers are coming in conflict, who will be beat whom, but bevor the bloodbath could begin, the drummer stopped the grotesque conflict. "The Shameless" are also a story about the conflicts between between the different rivals of the revolutionary Russia. "Dialogue" is some kind of a wordsymphonic poetry with the main metapher as a question, if birds could really fly. At the first glance this dramatic scene looks simple, but between the lines the audience can see that the new era of Sovietization would not like to depict situations without make-up, so it would be better to change this artistic implementation to the the art of the socialistic realism, the official recognized work on art.

Imprisoned during the time of the blockade of the city of Leningrad Charms dies on February 2nd 1942. The German Wehrnacht made a blockade of the city on the river Newa around the Peter-Paul-Fortress from September 8th 1941 till January 27th 1944 as the biggest siege of th Second World War with the goal to annihilate the people of the city with hunger, terror, and bombs. The German Wehrmacht was supported by units of the Cossacks, and the Waffen-SS of Latvia and Estonia. This situation of the extinction and the annihilaton of the Jewish and Slavic population of Russia Charms succinctly and concisely presented with selected irony in such a way that it can be portrayed in a musical and dramatic manner, corresponding with the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

Inszenierung: Herbert Gantschacher Es spielen: Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert Im Alter von drei Jahren ertaubte und erblindete Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) und verlor dann auch den Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn. Mit nur einem Sinn meisterte sie ihr Leben, lernte sogar das Klavierspielen und schrieb phantastische Gedichte aus der Sicht einer Taubblinden. Laura Brigdman war die erste Taubblinde, die eine Schule besuchen konnte, das Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in den USA. Und die erste Biographie über Laura Bridgman wurde in Wien geschrieben von Wilhelm Jerusalem. Mit dem Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" von Laura Bridgman bewegen sich die beiden Schauspieler Werner Mössler und Markus Rupert durch den Urbanen Raum Wien, an Straßenbahnstationen, in der Straßenbahn, an U-Bahnstationen, in der U-Bahn, an SBahnstationen, in der S-Bahn und machen selbst vor dem geschlossenen Burgtheater einen Halt, um Laura Bridgmans grandioses Gedicht "Hell und Dunkel" mit den künstlerischen Mitteln des sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Theaters im Urbanen Raum Wien zu präsentieren und zu spielen.

At the age of three years Laura Bridgman (1829-1889) became deaf and blind, and later she lost also the senses for taste and smell. Living now with only one sense for touch she was able to manage her life she learned to play the piano and wrote phantastic poems from the point of view of a deafblind. Laura Bridgman was the first deafblind person, who could go to school at the Perkins-Institute for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. And the first biography about Laura Bridgman was written in Vienna by Wilhelm Jerusalem. Today the actors Werner Mössler and Markus Rupert are moving through the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria. At tram stations, inside the tram, at stations of the underground railway, inside the undergound railway, at the stations of the surburbian commuter rail, inside the surburbian commuter rail, and also at the closed National Theatre of Austria, the Burgtheater, they are presenting and performing the poem "Light and Darkness" of Laura Bridgman with the artistic expression of the visible and unvisible theatre in the Urban Space of the City of Vienna in Austria.

VISUAL 2020 - DAS FILMPROGRAMM UND DIE VISUELLE THEATERBIBLIOTHEK
Projekte aus der von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater produzierten "Visuellen Theaterbibliothek" sowie verfilmte zum Teil mittlerweile legendäre Inszenierungen und ARBOS-Produktionen bilden das Programm dieser Reihe täglich bis Freitag 29.Mai 2020. VISUELLE THEATERBIBLIOTHEK "Erklärung der Menschen- und Bürgerrechte vom 26. August 1789" übersetzt und gebärdet von Horst Dittrich FILMPROGRAMM "Winterreise" von Franz Schubert Der Abschluss des Filmprogramms und der Visuellen Theaterbibliothek ist dem gehörlosen Schauspieler und Übersetzer Horst Dittrich gewidmet. Und es gilt auch, die Leistungen von Horst Dittrich für die Etablierung eines bilingualen Theaters in Gebärdensprache und Lautsprache zu würdigen. Auf Initiative von Horst Dittrich begannen im Jahr 1993 im Salzburger Toihaus zuerst einfache Theaterworkshops für interessierte Gehörlose, die dann bald in einem professionellen Ausbildungslehrgang für gehörlose Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler mündete. Da der Regisseur Herbert Gantschacher über eine akademische Lehrbefähigung zur Ausbildung in den künstlerischen Bereichen Regie und Schauspiel besitzt, konnte unter Leitung von Herbert Gantschacher ein Lehrgang auch mit prominentem Lehrpersonal aus der gehörlosen Theaterwelt und der hörenden Theaterwelt zusammengestellt werden. Die Hauptvorlesungen und praktischen Übungen wurden von Herbert Gantschacher durchgeführt. Der Dichter Dževad Karahasan, der davor der Dekan der Akademie der Szenischen Künste in Sarajevo war, lehrte das Fach "Dramaturgie". Und der gehörlose US-amerikanische Schauspieler und Regisseur Howie Seago lehrte die Fächer "Visuelles Theater" und "Die Arbeit des gehörlosen Schauspieler an der Rolle". Insgesamt haben vier gehörlose Personen diesen über 6 Jahre dauernden Lehrgang mit dem Abschluss zur Bühnenreife als professionelle Schauspieler geschafft wie Georg Horngacher, Gitta Palecek, Werner Mössler und eben auch Horst Dittrich. Daraus wurde im Jahr 2000 das erste europäische und internationale Gehörlosentheaterfestival in Wien, das heute den Titel VISUAL trägt. Die Produktionen von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater wurden und werden kontinuierlich in 8 österreichischen Bundesländern gespielt, Hauptorte sind derzeit das Wiener Theater Spielraum, das Toihaus in Salzburg und die neuebuehnevillach. Dazu kommen Gastspiele bei großen Festivals und Veranstaltungen von Washington D.C. bis St. Petersburg oder von Nova Gorica bis Stockholm. Die Qualität der Produktionen ist derart hoch, dass es Produktionen sogar zu ganz großen Festivals der Musik geschafft haben wie beispielsweise das International Musikfestival "SOUND WAYS"in St. Petersburg. Heute wird gezeigt aus der Visuellen Theaterbibliothek die "Erklärung der Menschenund Bürgerrechte vom 26. August 1789" übersetzt und gebärdet von Horst Dittrich. Die Reihe der Visuellen Theaterbibliothek wurde mit dem UNESCO-Preis ausgezeichnet wegen der "Entwicklung der Menschenrechte für Alle". Und aus dem Filmprogramm wird heute die bereits legendäre Verfilmung des Liederabends "Winterreise" mit Musik von Franz Schubert nach Gedichten von Wilhelm Müller gezeigt. Dabei "singt" der gehörlose Schauspieler Horst Dittrich mit seinen Händen Schuberts Liederzyklus begleitet von der Stimme des Bariton Rupert Bergmann mit Gert Hecher am Klavier.

VISUAL 2020 - THE FILMPROGRAMME AND THE VISUAL THEATRE LIBRARY
Projects from the "Visual Theatre Library" produced by ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre and filmed meanwhile legendary ARBOS-productions are the programme of this serie presented daily till May 29th 2020. THE VISUAL THEATRE LIBRARY "Declaration of Human and Citizens' Rights of August 26, 1789" translated and signed by Horst Dittrich FILMPROGRAMME "Winter Journey" by Franz Schubert The final presentation of the filmprogramme and the Visual Theatre Library is dedicated to the deaf actor and translater Horst Dittrich. So it is a good opportunity to pay tribute to Horst Dittrich's achievements in establishing a bilingual theatre with Sign Language and spoken language. By the initiative of Horst Dittrich, simple theatre workshops for interested deaf people started in 1993 at the theatre Toihaus in Salzburg, which after a short time resulted in a professional theatre education programme for deaf actresses and actors. Although the director Herbert Gantschacher has a academic teaching qualification for artistic education in the artistic fields of directing and acting, the programme under the direction of Herbert Gantschacher put together prominent teaching staff from both theatre world of deaf and hearing. The main lectures and practical exercises were done by Herbert Gantschacher. The poet Dževad Karahasan, who was previously the Dean of the Academy of Scenic Arts in Sarajevo, taught the subject of "dramaturgy". And the deaf American actor and director Howie Seago taught the subjects "Visual Theatre" and "The Deaf Actor's Work on the Role". A total of four deaf people completed this course, which lasted over 6 years and graduatedthem to professional actors, like Georg Horngacher, Gitta Palecek, Werner Mössler and Horst Dittrich. This turned into the first European and International Deaf Theatre Festival in Vienna in 2000, which is now named as VISUAL. The productions of ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre have been and are being performed continuously in 8 Austrian federal states, the main locations are currently in Vienna the "Theater Spielraum", in Salzburg the the theatre "Toihaus" and in Villach the theaetre of the "neuebuehnevillach". A lot of performances took and take place internationally on major festivals and big events from Washington D.C. to St. Petersburg or from Nova Gorica to Stockholm. The quality of these productions is from such a high standard that performances have even made it to major music festivals such as the international music festival "SOUND WAYS" in St. Petersburg.
Today now it will be presented as a production of the Visual Theatre Library the "Declaration of Human and Citizens' Rights of August 26, 1789" translated and signed by Horst Dittrich. FÜHRUNG DURCH DIE AUSSTELLUNG "DIE 5 SINNE" VON BURGIS PAIER Begreifbare, riechbare und schmeckbare Porträts zu 5 außergewöhnlichen Frauen, der einsinnigen taubblinden Laura Bridgman (sie verfügte über den Tastsinn), der zweisinnigen taubblinden Marie Heurtin (sie verfügte über den Tast- und Riechsinn), der dreisinnigen taubblinden Helen Keller (sie verfügte über den Tast-, Riech- und Geschmackssinn), Mary Ann Moore (die US-amerikanische blinde Schriftstellerin) und Sarah Harvey Porter (die USamerikanische Gehörlosenpädagogin von der Gallaudet-Universität in Washington D.C., die weltweit einzige Universität, in der in Gebärdensprache gelehrt wird). "IN DER STRAFKOLONIE"
VON FRANZ KAFKA ALS VISUELLES THEATER FÜR DIE BÜHNE EINGERICHTET VON TIM MCCARTY
Eine außergewöhnliche Produktion in internationaler Besetzung bildet den Abschluss der Vorstellungen für Wien, in den österreichischen Bundesländern gehen die Vorstellungen noch bis zum 20.Juni 2020 weiter in Direktübertragungen. Der US-amerikanische Regisseur und Autor Tim McCarty hat die berühmte Erzählung von Franz Kafka "In der Strafkolonie" für die Bühne bearbeitet als Auftragswerk von ARBOS - Gesellschaft für Musik und Theater. Inszeniert worden ist das Stück von Herbert Gantschacher, der dann in der Produktion auch die Funktion des Sprechers übernommen hat.
"In der Strafkolonie" von Franz Kafka (1883 - 1924) ist eine Geschichte aus dem Jahr 1914, als jenem Jahr, als im 20. Jahrhundert die großen Katastrophen begannen, die bis heute andauern. Kafka erzählt die Geschichte eines "eigentümlichen Apparats", der in der Strafkolonie zur Hinrichtung von Gefangenen benutzt wird. Dieser Text Franz Kafkas hat bis zum heutigen Tag nichts an Aktualität verloren, leider im Gegenteil sogar gewonnen angesichts der Vielzahl der weltpolitischen Krisen, der Wiederkehr des Eisernen Vorhangs, der früher Europa teilte und jetzt an den Außengrenzen der EU wiederrichtet wurde, Mord, Folter und moderner Sklavenhandel wie beispielsweise praktiziert in der Diktatur der Saud- Dynastie, die vermehrten Waffenexporte von NATO-Staaten in die Krisenregionen der Welt. Dringender denn je braucht die Welt friedensbildende Prozesse und Maßnahmen. Die Bühnenfassung des US-amerikanischen Regisseurs und Autors Tim McCarty ist von Horst Dittrich in Österreichische Gebärdensprache übersetzt worden. Es spielen die Schauspieler Ramesh Meyyappan (Singapur / Großbritannien), Werner Mössler (Österreich), Piotr Nowak und Arkadiusz Palatynski (Polen), die Stimme ist von Herbert Gantschacher, der die Produktion auch inszeniert hat.

"IN THE PENAL COLONY"
BY FRANZ KAFKA AS VISUAL THEATRE ADOPTED FOR THE STAGE BY TIM MCCARTY
An extra-ordinary production with an international cast will be now for the livestreams from Vienna the final performance. In the the Austrian states some performances take place till June 20th 2020 in livestream performances. The US-american director and author Tim McCarty has adopted the famous novel of Franz Kafka with the title "The Penal Colony commissioned by ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre. The play is directed by Herbert Gantschacher, who takes in the performance the part of the speaker too. "The Penal Colony" written by Franz Kafka (1883 - 1924) is a story from the year 1914, the year the in 20th century, when all big catastrophes started ongoing till today. Kafka tells us the story about a "strange machine", which is used in the penal colony for executions of prisoners. Unfortunately till today this novel of Franz Franz Kafka is still of timeless modernity as we see in the multiplicity of conflicts in the world. The Iron Curtain comes back in Europe, during the Cold War it divided Europe, now it is errected again on the external borders of the EU. Murder, torture and modern slavery exists also today for example practices in the dictatorship of the Saud-Dynasty. Increased exports of weapons by memberstates of the NATO in the regions of crisis in the Welt produce more crisis. The world urgent needs a lot of peacebuilding processes and measurements. The adoption of Kafka's novel for the stage written by the US-american director Tim McCarty has been translated by Horst Dittrich in Austrian Sign Language. Ausgehend von Kinderreimen wurde aus einem Szenarium ein Theaterstück entwickelt, um gehörlosen Kindern die Gebärdensprache auch als Theatersprache zu vermitteln und hörenden Kindern diese einzigartige Sprache als gleichwertige Kommunikationsform zur gesprochenen Sprache näherzubringen. Beginnend mit „Kribbelmärchen“ über „Fingerspiele“, „Handmärchen“ werden mit „ersten Schritten“ „unnütze Fragen“ gestellt, in Form von „Bildfragen“ Rätsel gestellt und gelöst und zu guter Letzt das ABC in Gebärdensprache gezeigt. Es ist dies ein Theaterstück für die ganze Familie und bietet auch die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem Fingeralphabet und den Gebärden der Österreichischen Gebärdensprache vertraut zu machen. Das Theaterstück wurde von der Europäischen Union mit dem Europasiegel für innovative Sprachenprojekte ausgezeichnet.

Außergewöhnliche Szenen und Stücke werden zu einem Tryptichon geformt und erzählen Geschichten von Schicksalen von Menschen in außerordentlichen Situationen mit und ohne Musik. Der erste Teil ist dem russischen Dichter Daniil Charms gewidmet. Charms beschäftigt sich in "Historischer Einschnitt" mit dem Revolutionsjahr 1917. In dieser dramatischen Szene findet Charms die Quintessenz der einsetzenden revolutionären Bewegungen des Jahres 1917, die einfach schlichtweg verschlafen werden, somit also eine Art traumatischer Wachzustand eintritt. "Die Schamlosen" versteht sich als große Oper in kurzer Form, in der die beiden großen Solopartien in Streit miteinander geraten, wer den nun wen schlagen wird, bevor es zum Gemetzel kommt schreitet der Trommler ein und beendet den grotesken Streit. „Die Schamlosen“ schildert aber auch die Auseinandersetzungen zwischen den rivalisierenden Gruppen der revolutionären Zeit Russlands. "Dialog" ist eine wortsymphonische Dichtung in Metaphern zur Frage, ob Vögel überhaupt fliegen können. In dieser auf den ersten Blick anmutenden einfachen dramatischen Szene liest es sich zwischen den Zeilen heraus, dass in der neuen Zeit der Sowjetisierung nicht von Vorteil ist, Situationen ungeschminkt darzustellen sondern diese besser in einer künstlerischen Umsetzung vorzustellen, also auf künstlerische Art und Weise den sozialistischen Realismus zu umgehen. Den Anfang des zweiten Teils macht die Parodie "Heimatklänge!" des Wiener Dichters Raoul Hausmann, der sich das Friedensmanifest der Pazifistin Martha Steinitz "Helden der Güte - Gandhi und andere" anschließt, gefolgt vom "Ostpolzug" des österreichischen Dramatikers Arnolt Bronnen, der uns mit seiner "Alexanderschlacht" in die tiefen Täler und hohen Berge von Afghanistan entführt, um dann mit Friedrich Wolfs "Die Matrosen von Cattaro" am Adriatischen Meer zu landen, um die Geschichte von Seeleuten in Ausnahmesituationen zu erfahren, wobei den Abschluss des zweiten Teils die Parodie "Missglückte Vorstellung" von Daniil Charms bildet. Der dritte Teil ist modernder Musik in Verbindung mit Gebärdensprache und Visuellem Theater gewidmet. Dalton Trumbos Szene "Johnny zieht in den Krieg" zeigt das Schicksal eines jungen US-amerikanischen Soldaten, der im Ersten Weltkrieg taub und blind wird und nur noch über das Morsesystem mit Außenwelt kommunizieren kann, und trotz aller Einschränkungen die Hoffnung nicht aufgibt gemäß Helen Kellers Motto "Hindernisse sind dazu da, um überwunden zu werden". August Stramms Gedicht "Sturmangriff" zeigt die Situation einer Gruppe von Soldaten, die in einem Sturmangriff nicht zu Helden wird.

Extra-ordinary scenes and plays are formed to a tryptich and tell stories about the fate of people in extra-ordinary situations with and without music. The first part works with plays and operas of the Russian poet Daniil Charms. In the miniopera "Historical Incision" Charms remembers to the revolutionary year of 1917. The quintessence for the starting revolutionary movements of the year 1917 simply slept through, so that a kind of traumatic wakefulness occurs. "The Shameless" are a big opera in a short form, both great solosingers are coming in conflict, who will be beat whom, but bevor the bloodbath could begin, the drummer stopped the grotesque conflict. "The Shameless" are also a story about the conflicts between between the different rivals of the revolutionary Russia. "Dialogue" is some kind of a wordsymphonic poetry with the main metapher as a question, if birds could really fly. At the first glance this dramatic scene looks simple, but between the lines the audience can see that the new era of Sovietization would not like to depict situations without make-up, so it would be better to change this artistic implementation to the the art of the socialistic realism, the official recognized work on art. The second part starts with the parody "Sound from the Motherland" of the Viennese poet Raoul Hausmann followed by the peace manifesto of the pacifist Martha Steinitz "Heroes of Mercy - Gandhi and others" followed by the "Eastern Pole Trail" of the Austrian dramatist Arnolt Bronnen, who directs us with his "Battle of Alexander" into the deep valleys and high mountains of Afghanistan. and after that journey in places of inner Asia the drama "The Sailors of Cattaro" by Friedrich Wolf brings us to another landscape back to Europe to the Adriatic Sea listening us visually to the fate of a group of sailors in an extra-ordinary situation, and at the end of the second part again is a parody titled with "Failed Performance" by Daniil Charms. The third part is dedicated to modern music combined with Sign Language as Visual Theatre. It starts with the scene of Dalton Trumbo "Johnny Got His Gun" shows the fate of a young US-american soldier in the First World War, who became deaf and blind and could only communicate with others with the morse-system. But according to all this restrictions in communication he was willing to fight for his existence due to the motto of Helen Keller "Obstacles are things to be overcome". The poem of August Stramm "Storm Attack" shows the situation of a unit of soldiers, which become in a storm attack not heroes.

Außergewöhnliche Szenen und Stücke werden zu einem Tryptichon geformt und erzählen Geschichten von Schicksalen von Menschen in außerordentlichen Situationen mit und ohne Musik. Der erste Teil ist dem russischen Dichter Daniil Charms gewidmet. Charms beschäftigt sich in "Historischer Einschnitt" mit dem Revolutionsjahr 1917. In dieser dramatischen Szene findet Charms die Quintessenz der einsetzenden revolutionären Bewegungen des Jahres 1917, die einfach schlichtweg verschlafen werden, somit also eine Art traumatischer Wachzustand eintritt. "Die Schamlosen" versteht sich als große Oper in kurzer Form, in der die beiden großen Solopartien in Streit miteinander geraten, wer den nun wen schlagen wird, bevor es zum Gemetzel kommt schreitet der Trommler ein und beendet den grotesken Streit. „Die Schamlosen“ schildert aber auch die Auseinandersetzungen zwischen den rivalisierenden Gruppen der revolutionären Zeit Russlands. "Dialog" ist eine wortsymphonische Dichtung in Metaphern zur Frage, ob Vögel überhaupt fliegen können. In dieser auf den ersten Blick anmutenden einfachen dramatischen Szene liest es sich zwischen den Zeilen heraus, dass in der neuen Zeit der Sowjetisierung nicht von Vorteil ist, Situationen ungeschminkt darzustellen sondern diese besser in einer künstlerischen Umsetzung vorzustellen, also auf künstlerische Art und Weise den sozialistischen Realismus zu umgehen. Den Anfang des zweiten Teils macht die Parodie "Heimatklänge!" des Wiener Dichters Raoul Hausmann, der sich das Friedensmanifest der Pazifistin Martha Steinitz "Helden der Güte - Gandhi und andere" anschließt, gefolgt vom "Ostpolzug" des österreichischen Dramatikers Arnolt Bronnen, der uns mit seiner "Alexanderschlacht" in die tiefen Täler und hohen Berge von Afghanistan entführt, um dann mit Friedrich Wolfs "Die Matrosen von Cattaro" am Adriatischen Meer zu landen, um die Geschichte von Seeleuten in Ausnahmesituationen zuerfahren, wobei den Abschluss des zweiten Teils die Parodie "Missglückte Vorstellung" von Daniil Charms bildet. Der dritte Teil ist modernder Musik in Verbindung mit Gebärdensprache und Visuellem Theater gewidmet. Dalton Trumbos Szene "Johnny zieht in den Krieg" zeigt das Schicksal eines jungen US-amerikanischen Soldaten, der im Ersten Weltkrieg taub und blind wird und nur noch über das Morsesystem mit Außenwelt kommunizieren kann, und trotz aller Einschränkungen die Hoffnung nicht aufgibt gemäß Helen Kellers Motto "Hindernisse sind dazu da, um überwunden zu werden". August Stramms Gedicht "Sturmangriff" zeigt die Situation einer Gruppe von Soldaten, die in einem Sturmangriff nicht zu Helden wird.

VISUAL 2020 - PERFORMANCE IN THE AUSTRIAN STATE OF SALZBURG TOIHAUS ARBOS - COMPANY FOR MUSIC AND THEATRE (AUSTRIA)

Extra-ordinary scenes and plays are formed to a tryptich and tell stories about the fate of people in extra-ordinary situations with and without music. The first part works with plays and operas of the Russian poet Daniil Charms. In the miniopera "Historical Incision" Charms remembers to the revolutionary year of 1917. The quintessence for the starting revolutionary movements of the year 1917 simply slept through, so that a kind of traumatic wakefulness occurs.
"The Shameless" are a big opera in a short form, both great solosingers are coming in conflict, who will be beat whom, but bevor the bloodbath could begin, the drummer stopped the grotesque conflict. "The Shameless" are also a story about the conflicts between between the different rivals of the revolutionary Russia. "Dialogue" is some kind of a wordsymphonic poetry with the main metapher as a question, if birds could really fly. At the first glance this dramatic scene looks simple, but between the lines the audience can see that the new era of Sovietization would not like to depict situations without make-up, so it would be better to change this artistic implementation to the the art of the socialistic realism, the official recognized work on art. The second part starts with the parody "Sound from the Motherland" of the Viennese poet Raoul Hausmann followed by the peace manifesto of the pacifist Martha Steinitz "Heroes of Mercy - Gandhi and others" followed by the "Eastern Pole Trail" of the Austrian dramatist Arnolt Bronnen, who directs us with his "Battle of Alexander" into the deep valleys and high mountains of Afghanistan. and after that journey in places of inner Asia the drama "The Sailors of Cattaro" by Friedrich Wolf brings us to another landscape back to Europe to the Adriatic Sea listening us visually to the fate of a group of sailors in an extra-ordinary situation, and at the end of the second part again is a parody titled with "Failed Performance" by Daniil Charms. The third part is dedicated to modern music combined with Sign Language as Visual Theatre. It starts with the scene of Dalton Trumbo "Johnny Got His Gun" shows the fate of a young US-american soldier in the First World War, who became deaf and blind and could only communicate with others with the morse-system. But according to all this restrictions in communication he was willing to fight for his existence due to the motto of Helen Keller "Obstacles are things to be overcome". The poem of August Stramm "Storm Attack" shows the situation of a unit of soldiers, which become in a storm attack not heroes.
