European and International Projects and Follow-Up Projects of the Memorial Year "Austria 1918-2018"

"ON THE MOVE I II III IV" - "AUFBRÜCHE I II III IV" is the programmatic title of those projects, who the results of my research projects, productions of ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre as well as follow-up projects of the Memorial Year "Austria 1918-2018" at European and international level.
Since the year 2014 I work together with the Governor of the State of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria, Peter Kaiser, the First President of the Parliament of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria, Reinhart Rohr, and the Cultural Speaker and Head of the Cultural Committee of the Parliament of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria Herwig Seiser, to promote extra ordinary projects on culture, art and music from the State of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria to an European and International stage.
Since now more than 25 years I am working on European and International stages with projects on history, culture, performing arts and music: To promote the work of the extra ordinary Austrian-Jewish musician, conductor, essayist, music critic, poet and composer Viktor Ullmann starting in research work in 1979 and since 1993 by directing and producing operas, concerts, lectures, exhibitions in Austria, in Europe, in Canada, in USA, in Israel;
To promote the extra ordinary artistic work of deaf artists at the festival VISUAL in Vienna since the year 2000 and to promote this work also to an audience since the year 1992 in eight of the nine the States of the Republic of Austria, in Europe, in USA, in Australia;
To promote the extra ordinary work of the Austrian-Jewish philosopher, progressive educationalist and pacifist Wilhelm Jerusalem. His work influenced a lot of works in philosophy today as the philosophy of pragmatism or the work of the German philosopher Jürgen Habermas or the work of the musician, conductor, essayist, music critic, poet and composer Viktor Ullmann (Ullmann was a student of Wilhelm Jerusalem, and the father of Ullmann, Maximlian, was related to the family of Wilhelm Jerusalem in friendship) or his work as a real pionier for the deaf and deafblind (among them Laura Bridgman, Marie Heurtin, Helen Keller) since the year 2009 in the Republic of Austria, in Europe, in Israel and to reconstruct the Wilhelm-Jerusalem-Archive in a digital edition for the Department of Manuscripts of the National Archives of the State of Israel at the National Library at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem;
To promote the theatreplays and works of the extra ordinary poet and dramatist Dževad Karahasan, with whom I am working as a theatre director and author and he with me as a poet and dramaturg for productions of Viktor Ullmann, Herbert Lauermann and Hans Krása; to present the works since the year 1993 in the Republic of Austria, in Europe, in USA, in Singapore, in Australia, in Argentine.
The projects of the State of Carinthia curated by me for the Memorial Year "Austria 1918-2018" of the Republic Austria - the retired President of the Republic of Austria, Heinz Fischer was the promoter and patron of this projects in Austria, in Europe, in Israel; for projects in the Republic of Slovenia related to the Memorial Year "Austria 1918-2018" the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor was and is the patron for cooperation projects between the State of Carinthia and the Republic of Slovenia.
So since the year 1992 I am running projects on an European and International stages cooperating with a lot of different institutions as theatres, operahouses, music and documentary centres, festivals, museums, archives, schools, universities, academies for music and performing arts.
With the support of the acting Minister of Culture and Governor of the State of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria, Peter Kaiser and the acting Minister for Youth of the State of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria, Sara Schaar and the Cultural Speaker and Head of the Cultural Committee of the Parliament of the State of Carinthia in the Republic of Austria, Herwig Seiser and with the support of ARBOS - Company for Music and Theatre now it was possible, to bring most of the partners to the capital of Carinthia, Klagenfurt for a network meeting to form new teams for new projects based on funding programme of the European Unions in departments of youth, memory, art and culture. The role model for future projects in financing and organisation is the Best Practice Project "Hidden History" realized from May 2014 to May 2018 as an European and International project (See the link for further information at: https://www.academia.edu/39732913/Herbert_Gantschacher_VERBORGENE_GESCHICHTE__HIDDEN_HISTORY On the next pages the results of the network meeting taken place at Klagenfurt from 3rd of October 2019 to 5th of October 2019 will be presented with short descriptions for proposed projects with institutions from Russia, Germany, Slovenia, Israel / Palestine, Austria (they participated at the network meeting) and for proposed projects with institutions from Bosnia-Hercegovina, Belgium, Sweden and Finland (they did not participate at the network meeting) as Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and Canada.
The descriptions are short and inform about the themes, the organisation, proposed fundings and the schedule and proposed structures of the different projects.
All projects will have their own organizational structure and are also implemented independently in cooperation between the leading and co-organizing institutions in accordance to the curator Herbert Gantschacher and his deputy Rudolf Altersberger.
