The leading institution is to be proposed by Germany (Documentary Centre Prora on the island Rügen, located at Berlin and Prora), the co-organizing institutions are from Austria (ARBOS – Company for Music and Theatre, located at Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Vienna), Slovenia (LUNG Nova Gorica as co-organizer and the Goriški Muzej, located at Nova Gorica, as cooperation partner).
A project with the younger generation to experience different curtains and walls (in the age from 13 to 30) participating from schools in Bergen, Berlin, Kobarid, Tolmin, Nova Gorica, Vienna, Carinthia. Based on historical facts and situations young people will exchange their personal experiences of curtains and walls. The cities of Berlin, Nova Gorica and the State of Carinthia are extra-ordinary examples for the existence of visible and unvisible curtains and walls. It will be also a research work by the young participants themselves with their personal experiences and knowledge. Also the question of disabled young persons (for example deaf, deafblind and handicapped girls and boys) in connection with the functions of curtains and walls will be a main part of the project.
