| This video-clip shows the ouverture of the opera "The Broken Jug" by Viktor Ullmann based on the comedy by Heinrich von Kleist in a production of ARBOS-Company for Music and Theatre. He finished the composition in 1942 in Prague, before he was deported to the concentration-camp of Theresienstadt. There he worked as part of the "Freizeitgestaltung" and composed more than 20 musical pieces. In October 1944 he sent to Auschwitz and murdered in the gas chamber. | ||||
